So the way I see it, their solo’s could acturally mean something more than we would think.
I mean, there have been a lot of discussion about the way Taemin look lately. Like, the way he’s so much prettier than most girls and how girly he looks. He must be so sick and fed up with all that shit, that’s why: ‘SHUT THE FUCK UP’. This solo is obviously meant to show off a more mature and manly side of him and I totally love it. It’s so damn hot and sexy.
In my eyes Key has always been very femenine and sexy, but this preformance really tops it all. I mean, am I the only one who thinks he’s trying to tell us something?
The song ‘Firework’ is about breaking out and showing off who you really are. …and his pink suit. He just looks very comfertable with this preformance. Don’t judge me, this is just my opinion and I know I’m totally not the only one who wishes he was gay.
When SHINee debuted, Minho was really shy and silent. He didn’t do much except from standing in the background with an awkward smile on his face, and I think the other members said that he is the most quiet one. I know his confidence seems to have grown over the years, and he really blew our minds with the OMG preformance. To me it seems that in his new solo he tries to show off a more mature side of himself. Like, he can be sexy without undressing himself in front of thousands of screaming girls even though I totally love it when he’s shirtless. My bias is amazing.
As for Jonghyun he always seemed to me as he tried too hard to be the manly and sexy one. He always gets credit for his good looks, fantastic body and how well he sings. I totally agree with all this, but it’s all a little bit too much for my taste. That’s why I enjoyed hearing him in a less serious and more fun song. I haven’t seen his preformanve yet, but if it’s gonna fit the song it has to be fun and filled with energy. Keep it up dino~
And Onew. Gash. Our glorious leader has become a real man. His vocals was always amazing, and now they’ve impressed me again. I must admit I’m a little bit tierd of all his ballades because that’s the only thing he ever does for his solo’s, but I liked this preformance as well. I didn’t love it, but it was ok. The 25 second long note at the end of the song can impress everyone, and I think it would be hard to ever match up with Onew.
SHINee has grown so much, and there is just no going back to their cute ‘Korea’s little brothers’ image they used to have.
